Uh-oh, when it comes to starting a career in television, it seems like Rihanna wouldn’t want to quit her day job any time soon. Why? Well, apparently her new show Style to Rock isn’t getting the best ratings in the world or anything.
According to reports, the ratings for Rihanna’s new fashion series fell to just 79,000 for the second episode, which isn’t a good sign – especially seeing as how the first episode brought in 95,000 viewers.
But unfortunately for Rih-Rih – even that figure was lower than Sky Living’s usual audience figure of 153,000 for a new show.
The programme, which has been executively produced by the singer, features a host of wannabe designers who are competing to create a festival outfit for her to wear on stage. The show was expected to rake in the ratings, mainly because of Rihanna’s involvement and the fact that big names like Kanye West, Cheryl Cole and Katy Perry all make appearances during the current series.

Big names like Kanye West are set to make apperances on the series.
The slump in ratings came despite the fact that Rihanna has been heavily plugging it to the 25million fans that follow her on social networking website Twitter. Recently, she told them: “It’s finally here! My 1st TV series I’ve executively produced!”
Sky has insisted that the ratings for the programme were far higher when repeats and catch-up figures were included.
“It was trending and Rihanna is the biggest star in the world. Find me a channel controller who would turn down Rihanna in her own series,” said Stuart Murphy, a channel controller.
“It’s pull in respectable ratings. It airs on a tough night against big shows such as Jack Whitehall’s comedy bad Education and it’s really difficult to launch a new show against strong competition,” said another insider.
What do you think of Rihanna’s new show? Have you watched any of it yet?
