Roz Purcell had the most awkward interview EVER on Eoghan McDermott’s show

YIKES!

Laura Holland

Talk about tense.

Roz Purcell was invited onto Eoghan McDermott’s 2fm show yesterday and things got VERY awkward. Roz was due to pop in to speak about the new RTÉ show Taste of Success but, instead, Eoghan went off on a Bressie-themed tangent.

As we all know, Roz and Bressie split earlier this year after three years together and Eoghan couldn’t resist getting some awkward questions in while Roz was in studio.

He started off the interview by doing a link straight after The Blizzards’ song played on the radio. He opened it by saying, “Roz, you know The Blizzards?”

After she replied, “Eoghan, come on”, he said, “Sorry, that was inappropriate.”

He then went on to ask, “Why would any given individual at 35 not drop down the anchor,” making reference to Bressie’s lyrics. Again Roz was not impressed and asked if he was serious.

He didn’t stop there either.

He asked about Bressie’s lyrics, “She’s perfect on paper, dear God why do I hate her,” and, at that point, she said she was going to leave if he asked one more question.

Then he gets in two final digs where he asks about her new boyfriend and whether she dumped Bressie because he was unemployed.

YIKES.

We hope for everyone’s sake this is all a joke and that she’s in on it.

Watch it here for yourself:
