For years now Corkonians have argued that Dublin hasn’t a patch on the ‘real capital’ of Ireland. And as it turns out, Ryanair feels the same.
This Ryanair advertisement that appeared in a French newspaper clearly states an amazing deal to lure folks to travel to Dublin for The Gathering, only thing is though, that isn’t Dublin lads…

Dublin is packed with beautiful scenery and landmarks that Ryanair could have used, but no, according to deputy CEO Michael Cawley, there’s no place like Cork (which as you've probably guessed, is home for him).
“We know it’s a picture of Cork, but there’s nowhere as beautiful in Dublin as Cork, so we used it to try and get more French passengers to fly to Dublin.” Cawley tells the Irish Examiner.
Now, what we aren’t sure of is if this is a sneaky extra charge that O’ Leary and the boys are planning to trick French travelers with, but one thing we are certain of, Dubliners will definitely have something to say about this.
