Ryanair has told flyers to avoid wearing a certain clothing item on planes.
While aeroplanes are the quickest mode of transport globally, they’re not typically known for their comfort.
The best you can do is to keep cosy, lay back with earphones in and close your eyes until landing.
However, passengers have been left baffled after Ryanair took to TikTok to tell them to ditch a particular clothing item.
The budget airline posted footage of their aircraft descending over what appears to be Corfu airport before their infamous celebratory tune plays out followed by an air hostess thanking passengers for flying with them.
The text overtop the video reads ‘It’s 2026, let’s stop travelling in jeans’, with an extra plead in the caption.
The bold statement has sparked debate online, with many demanding clarification of why jeans should be left behind.
One TikTok user asked: “What is wrong with jeans please explain?”, to which Ryanair replied: “what’s right with them?”
“Agreed. It needs to be band. Comfies only!” commented another.
One user joked: “Well then maybe let me bring a bigger bag to PUT MY JEANS IN.”
The airline is known for its entertaining social media platforms, particularly their TikTok, but this one seems to have crossed the line for some users.
