"I took a trip up there to the North Pole; I went there and I vaccinated Santa Claus myself."
Good news everyone - Santa has received the Covid-19 vaccine, so he's good to fly all over the world with gifts.
It really wouldn't be Christmas without our beloved Santa visiting. He's been busy all year round organising gifts and checking his list more than twice to see who's been naughty and nice.
The elves have also been busy making the toys perfect for all the little boys and girls around the world in time for Christmas.
This year's pandemic has changed a lot of things but at least it won't change Santa's visit. Many children around the world were worried that Father Christmas wouldn't make it to their house to deliver their gifts but all is well in the North Pole and Christmas plans are going ahead as usual.
Santa has been given the vaccine and he has also been given the all clear to travel around the world to deliver presents. Apparently, Santa was one of the first people in the world to get the vaccine. Mrs Claus was also given the jab.
You love to see it.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, confirmed the news while answering questions from kids on CNN's Sesame Street for ABC's recent Covid-19 town hall. Children were given the chance to send in questions about Covid and Dr. Fauci answered them.
One boy asked if Santa was still able to deliver presents during the pandemic. Dr Fauci replied: "I took care of that for you".
"I took a trip up there to the North Pole; I went there and I vaccinated Santa Claus myself. I measured his level of immunity, and he is good to go. He can come down the chimney, he can leave the presents, he can leave, and you have nothing to worry about. Santa Claus is good to go."
And thank god for that.
