A team of five fantastic ladies will be taking on five of our bros from JOE.ie in the 10k event in Dublin's Phoenix Park on Saturday April 11.
We can guarantee one thing: victory shall be ours!
Meet our team of super stars:
First up is Sinéad Leonard, who join us from Sligo. She loves going out, and she likes to travel at every opportunity. She's also a big AFL fan - that's Australian Football, for the uninitiated!
Next up is Limerick lady, Katie Kennedy. Now living in Dublin, she loves running, reading, Pilates and cooking. Fun fact? Her favourite food is gherkins!
Olivia Breene is next up. She's originally from Cork, but she's been living in Dublin since September. She loves travelling, going to the gym, swimming, baking and running. Welcome, Olivia!
Orla McIntyre is our fourth team member and she joins us from Leitrim. Orla loves running, baking and eating chocolate! Us too, Orla. Us too.
And finally, we've got Helen Power to complete the dream team. Helen is from Galway / Dublin (she's still trying to decide which city!).
She loves running, going to matches, music and heading out on the tiles. Fun fact? She played the accordion on School Around The Corner in the 90s. The memories still haunt her! We're actually quite jealous!
Here's a look at the course our team will be taking on in The Phoenix Park:
Good luck ladies!
