Second Ikea branch to open in Dublin this summer

And there's going to be one feature we've all been waiting for.

Cathy Donohue

Great news.

Ikea is set to open its second Dublin outlet this summer and if that wasn’t enough to make your Monday, the outlet will offer an Order and Collection service.

According to The Irish Times, the second branch will be located in The Park, Carrickmines and will be a smaller version of the outlet in Ballymun.

Although not quite as large in size, this store will have other features including the opportunity to chat with staff about the products available.

There will also be a cafe on site and of course, the much-coveted Order and Collection service. Ideal when you don’t have the time or inclination to shop in store.

The Order and Collect service was introduced to the UK last year and currently operates successful collection points in Norwich and Aberdeen.
