She is one of the biggest stars ever to grace Hollywood and this month Barbra Streisand is making her return to the big screen alongside Seth Rogen in The Guilt Trip.
So to mark this moment we have decided to take a look back at the biggest moments of her multi-faceted career to find out what it is that makes her a living legend…
She’s a film icon
From her iconic role in Funny Girl to the epic love story she helped depict in The Way We Were, Barbra will always be a big screen favourite.
She’s an official legend
You know someone is a legend when they have a song named after them and that’s exactly what has happened thanks to band Duck Sauce (beware, this song WILL get stuck in your head).
She’s comedy gold
She always seemed like she was up for a laugh but it wasn’t until we saw her in Meet the Fockers that we appreciated her comic timing and fun-loving attitude.
She’s a dancing queen
We knew she had rhythm and soul but the fact that she is taking to the dance floor for Dancing With The Stars just proves that she belongs in the spotlight. Just look at those lines!
She has famous friends
Whether it’s Richard Gere or Adele, Barbra sure knows how to socialise with the Hollywood elite. Although it probably helps that she’s in it!
She’s an award winner
We can’t even count the amount of awards Babs has picked up over the years but we do know it’s a lot. From Emmys to Oscars, her mantelpiece reached its limit years ago.
She’s a singing superstar
Barbra is most famous for her incredible voice. Be it Somewhere, Woman In Love or The Way We Were she sure can belt them out and would give the music stars of today a real run for their money!
Barbara is back on the big screen with The Guilt Trip, released in Irish Cinemas from March 8th.
