When given the choice between some seriously hot sex or achieving the perfect body, some new research has revealed that us womenfolk are more likely to prioritise getting in shape rather than spicing things up in the bedroom.
Yes, if the results of a recent study are to be believed, we’d much rather get sweaty on a treadmill than in bed with our other half. We know, we know – we found this hard to believe as well.
The study, which was conducted by a weight loss motivation firm, claims that the vast majority of us will make a New Year’s resolution to look after our bodies rather than our sex lives.

Have you made your sex life a priority for 2013?
According to the findings of the study, 27 per cent of women have put losing weight on the top of their 2013 resolution list, while a further 25 per cent said that their number one priority was to work out more.
In comparison, only 11 per cent put sex as one of their main priorities this year while having some sexy time with their partner didn’t even feature on the list for the vast majority of women.
Now, we’re all for looking after your own health and taking care of yourself but we’re also firm believers in the ‘two birds, one stone’ method. Look, all we’re saying is that an hour of vigorous sex can burn off upwards of 200 calories…
