It happens to a lot of women.
Many women experience painful sex, however it's rarely talked about.
There's a lot of reasons why sex might be sore for you; it could be because you have endo, you're postpartum, post-operation, or just find penetration sore - either way it can be really frustrating.
According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, three out of four women will experience painful sex at some point in their lives, so it's a wonder why nobody has done anything about it before.
Something that is non-hormonal and non-invasive, that is.
But that's where the Ohnut comes in. The Ohnut has been created for women who find sex painful, as it makes for a soft landing during deep penetration.
It was created by Emily Sauer, who herself experienced discomfort during sex. She was ignored by doctors countless times so decided to do something about it.
After months of research, planning and a Kickstarter campaign to kick things off, Emily created the Ohnut - and it's now being praised by gynaecologists worldwide.
On the
Ohnut website, it says that Emily "partnered with renowned sexual medicine clinicians, holistic practitioners, and countless empathetic humans - to understand where we can collectively generate the biggest impact on reviving
human connection.
"After all, sex is never just physical and the path to sexual health solutions isn't always clear. Our products are designed to make simple physical adjustments, feel easy to talk about, and to make
you feel loved. "
