Extreme ‘sex roulette’ parties are on the rise and they seem so bizarrely dangerous it’s hard to understand what the payoff might be. The parties are orgies in which one person secretly has HIV and no one is allowed wear a condom.
According to
The Mirror, the rise of parties in Barcelona have seen a significant increase in cases of HIV and doctors report that people have ‘lost respect’ for HIV.
Dr. Josep Mallolas spoke to Spanish site
El Periodico and said:
"There is everything: sex roulette parties, or sex parties you can only attend if you already have HIV."
The parties are also known as ‘blue’ parties.
Serbian newspaper The Telegraf have previously reported on the parties. A stripper interviewed claimed the parties have been a long standing occurrence in Serbia. They are organized by the rich. All participants wear masks and the identity of the infection person remains secret.
“The real kick for these people is apparently the risk that they might be the one having sex with the HIV-infected partner," she said.
