Katie Waissel has hit out at Cheryl Fernandez Versini yet again this week stating that Cheryl needs to “lighten up”.
The former X Factor just couldn’t resist getting another dig at her former mentor as she wrote her first column for new!. Katie blasted Cheryl for her reactions during last weekend’s X Factor final.
“Cheryl was absolutely NOWEHERE to be seen!” she wrote. “I’m surprised she even made it out to the chairs.
“I feel like that is a real shame. If anything, she should have totally gotten into the spirit of things. She needs to lighten up, for her sake!” she ranted, before suggesting that Cheryl should give up her seat at the judges’ table.
“If she doesn’t want to be there and take part, then I suggest she slowly slip away. People see through bulls**t."
She had revealed earlier this week that she had plans to become a judge herself.
“Simon and I are as close as pennies in a purse, and yes there are very exciting things to look forward to for next year, so watch this space…”
