Tongues started wagging about Hozier’s close relationship with Taylor Swift after the pair were seen chatting at the Grammy Awards and now, her friend has set the record straight about the pair.
The Take Me To Church singer is believed to have attended a gig in LA with Swift in the days leading up to the awards ceremony and the two were later seen “getting cosy” at Sam Smith’s afterparty.
However, a source confirmed to US Magazine this week that things are, and will remain, platonic and Hozier will not be the Blank Space singer’s next beau.
“It’s not romantic. She’s just a huge fan!” said the source.
“They’ve been friends at least six or seven months. They will always be only friends.”
