Thanks to the glorious weather we've experienced this week, we had to choose a beach for this week's must-visit Irish destination.
If you're from the west of Ireland, you might have heard of Gurteen Bay and Dog's Beach.
They're located back to back, two miles to Roundstone, on the road to Clifden, Co Galway.
What makes these beaches that little bit special is the fact that the sand is composed of seashell fragments instead of the standard limestone.
This lends to that gorgeous white sandy effect and it wouldn't be out of place in a sun holiday brochure.
If you've nothing planned for the weekend and feel like a road-trip, a visit to the beach is always a good call.
