Remember when you were little and you knew your parents had bought you a surprise, and you were simply dying to find out what it was?
Who among us didn’t employ sneaky strategies to try and find out what they were getting for their birthdays (we’re talking sneaking peeks in bags at the top of the wardrobe and dropping heavy hints to relatives in the hope they might divulge some info).
One child decided to do the ultimate sneaky deed and forge a letter from her dad, Don, to her mother (Reddit user EndlessLazer), pretending not to remember what the ‘surprise’ they bought for their daughter was.

While we admire her ingenuity, we’d imagine the handwriting would give the game away pretty much immediately.
As would addressing your wife as ‘Wife’. A tad too formal we think.
