Miriam O'Callaghan has stood up for her telly buddy Ryan Tubridy, saying if he wasn't the one getting slagged, she would be.
The PrimeTime presenter took Tubs' side after he was heavily criticised for his performance on the Late Late Show this season.
A viral video mash-up of the Late Late Show and The Graham Norton Show on the night of Will Smith's entertaining dance meant Tubs received even more abuse about his handling of the Irish Friday night show.
"The Will Smith performance was just super entertainment. And when it’s on YouTube and cut up with the Late Late Show, of course it won’t come out well, but nobody would," Miriam told the Irish Sun.
"I just think you can’t take these things too seriously, that’s what I would say to Ryan about it."
Mum-of-eight Miriam, 53, said neither herself or Ryan deserve the abuse they receive.
"To be fair to Ryan it could have been me just as easily as it was him," Miriam said.
“We live in Ireland and it’s a different market to the UK, all the research has told us that.
"And the reality is A-listers go to the UK for the TV audience of 60 million, they can’t be bothered coming to Ireland for less than one million.”

Standing up for Tubs: Miriam speaks out about the Late Late Show host's abuse.
Miriam said she loves showing off her more light-hearted side on the June/July show Saturday Night With Miriam.
Come August, Miriam, her husband and their eight kids are taking a well-deserved holiday in Portugal.
"We are all going away together, and when I say all I mean all," she said.
"The ten of us are going to Portugal, I’m delighted it’s happening."
