Starbucks And Spotify Have Teamed Up In What We Deem A Match Made In Heaven

In a partnership that we are thoroughly on board with, Starbucks and Spotify have created a nifty little addition to the already popular Starbucks app.

The addition which accompanies the latest update to the app, allows users to quickly identify songs currently playing in the playlist in the cafe, according to Android Authority.

Gone are the days where you frantically attempt to shazam as close to the speaker as possible, or strain to catch a lyric before the fadeout so that you can google it.

As well as this, users have the ability to “love” a song, which gives both Spotify and Starbucks greater insight into what coffee lovers want to hear, so that they can adapt their playlist accordingly.

For those unfamiliar with the Starbucks app, it’s basically a handy tool that allows you to skip the queue by ordering in advance.
