Tonight Sue Barker, Gary Lineker and Clare Balding reveal who has been crowned this year’s sports personality of the year.

Calendar Girls – BBC Two (8.30pm)

After her husband dies of leukaemia a woman decides to raise funds for the local hospital. Her plan is to convince her friends to strip off for a charity calendar.

Love/Hate – RTÉ One (9.30pm)

In the last episode of the series Nidge hides out in a hotel thinking about what will happen when him and Dano finally meet. It’s guaranteed to be one explosive series finale.
