Study finds that a large amount of millennials believe the world is flat

Olivia Hayes

The world is round guys, OK?

It’s hard to believe in this day and age, and with all the scientific research, that some people believe the world is flat.

Flat Earthers, as some like to call them, even have their own society, and even though the theory has been squashed by some of the great minds of our time, they seem to be getting more and more attention these days.

So much so, that many millennials are going over to the flat earth side.

A recent YouGov survey asked nearly 10,000 adults aged 18 to 24 what they believe in… and it’s a bit worrying how many don’t think the world is round.

The researchers found that 34 percent of people in that age group are on the flat earth side.

The survey also asked for how long they believed in this… and 9 percent said that they have only begun to go over to the other side recently.

Many factors came into play in the research, such as economic income and religion, as well as age, but it varies quite a bit.

Researchers also added that celebrities that have recently come out as Flat Earthers are also a factor on what people believe.
