Study Shows That This Popular Exercise Is Pretty Bad For Male Sexual Performance

Whaaaaat?

This goes against everything we believe in.

Up until now, we equate exercise with physical prowess, and would imagine that extends to the bedroom, right? RIGHT?

Well, apparently that’s not always the case.

In fact, a study has found that running can actually impair a male’s sexual performance.

We know, pretty mind blowing.

Apparently, this is down to the fact that the male sex hormone, testosterone decreases significantly, meaning a higher chance of low libido, erectile dysfunction and fatigue.

According to the University of British Columbia, running just under six miles a day was shown to decrease testosterone levels by up to one fifth, meaning long distance running and marathon training can impact sexual performance.

However, there ARE ways to counteract the negative effects.

Weight-lifting and intense workouts are great for boosting testosterone levels as well as plenty of sleep and a diet full of healthy fats.
