It’s every TV hosts worst nightmare – their younger rival showing up to work in the same outfit.
But, it seems Miriam O’Callaghan took a similar sartorial mishap in her stride just before the first episode of the newly re-launched current affairs programme Prime Time, after co-host Claire Byrne arrived on set wearing the same shade of red.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, RTE veteran O’Callaghan confirmed that both her and Byrne showed up on the first day wearing similar clothing and that she was indeed asked to change by producer David Nally, but said she had no problem with the request.

Lady in Red... but not anymore
"The story about our outfits is true, but I want to stress I wasn't upset about changing my shirt and there is no tension between myself and Claire," O'Callaghan said.
"Relations are great, and with Pat (Kenny), too. In fact I joked to Pat that I wanted to know in advance what he planned to wear, and he took it in good fun."
