Survey Finds That One In Four People Return From Holiday More Stressed Than Before

We're not okay with this...

A holiday is meant to recharge your batteries so you return in good form and full of energy BUT new research has revealed a surprising statistic.

The results of this survey, which focused on 2,000 people living in Britain, showed that one in four people return from a break more stressed than when they left.

We all need a holiday…

Carried out by a company called Nationwide, the research found that 26 per cent of people need two or three days before they can completely relax on holiday (not great news as the break is half over before you’ve even had time to enjoy it).

For the purpose of the survey, worries were divided into three categories: pre-holiday, during the break and returning home.

Results showed that pre-holiday, forgetting something is the main cause for alarm, money worries are responsible for stress during a holiday and when it’s time to come home, people panic about delays.

Stress is NOT fun!

There’s a definite difference between gender too as 20 per cent of men said nothing worried them before a holiday while only 9 per cent of women could say the same.

We’re NOT okay with this and are making a pact to have a stress-free holiday next time round. It is possible…right?!
