Teddy’s Are Going Viral in a Post That Proves They Are Undoubtedly the Best Ice Cream Shop Ever

Nothing spells summer like a stroll on Dun Laoghaire Pier capped off with a Teddy’s ice cream.

Teddy’s have been the best in the biz since it’s establishment in 1950. The little ice cream shack in Dun Laoghaire is a household name and has earned an unshakeable place in the heart of every seaside goer.

A post shared on their Facebook page by one happy customer is fast going viral for proving just how wonderful the little ice cream supplier is.

‎Danielle Meagher shares her story of her walk home and stopping at Teddy’s to get the first ice cream of the season.

She writes:   

“So after long walk was heading home and saw Teddy’s was still open and only one of us wanted an Ice Cream (Me) and I had no cash but they take card. I said to the manager is it ok to put €2.50 on the card as

I’ve no cash on me and I’m so excited to have the first Teddys Ice Cream of the season and he hands me a 99 with 2 flakes in it and says it’s a pressie because ‘first 99 of the summer season is the best’. He’s not wrong and so kind. I’ll pay it forward tomorrow and buy someone a coffee/lunch and thanks so much Teddys for being so nice and for having the best ice cream in the world.”
