Thank You – Colin Thought He Didn’t Have Any Friends But Gets A Big Birthday Surprise

This is so lovely.

Cathy Donohue

Last month, we posted a story about a ten-year-old boy called Colin who didn’t want to have a birthday party, because he thought he didn’t have any friends.

Due to a sensory processing disorder similar to autism, Colin often finds it difficult to interact with others.

Colin told his mother, Jennifer, that he didn’t want a birthday this year, as he didn’t have any friends to invite.

Jennifer then set up a Facebook page entitled Happy Birthday Colin, so that people could send her little boy their well wishes.

2.1 million people have liked the birthday Facebook page and he has received over 40,000 packages and cards.

The ten-year-old also got another huge surprise when he appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America yesterday.

He thought he was there to test a new video game, but then found out that he and his family were going to Disneyland.

The video below shows Colin speaking after the TV appearance and we are just so happy that he will have an enjoyable birthday, when he turns 11 on March 9th (tomorrow).
