Fan of The Big Bang Theory? You’re about to be very happy. Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Johnny Galecki have signed new contracts with Warner Bros. TV and production on season eight of the hit show.
According to E! News, the deal means the actors have signed on for the next three years, after demanding a pay increase, with production deals, more syndication backend and bonuses.
Although cast regulars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch have already signed on for filming to resume, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg have yet to sign new contracts with the show.
Creator Chuck Lorre told E! News last month he was confident the show’s schedule wouldn’t be held us, saying:
"It will be fine. Warner Brothers has done this before. Everybody should be very successful and happy and rich. They earned it. It's a great cast. Great cast. It's their time."
The Big Bang Theory is set to return on Monday, Sept. 22 with an hour-long premiere before continuing its regular Thursday night slot from late October.
