Ian Goldfarb, the man behind the project said:
“The packs will supply 24 strips where you can pull a strip, let it dissolve in your mouth for a blast of flavour.
“It's not a new technology, edible film has been around a long time, but we will be repurposing it using flavours we crave. This is where the fun begins.”
The 24 pack of strips will retail for roughly £6, with a bundle of three packs coming in at £15.
Despite the initial excitement at the new product hitting the shelves, the inventors are still looking for a pledge of £24,000 to fund the remaining research.
