Flash mobs have become something of a regular occurrence online in this day and age but we have to say, this is one flash mob with a difference. What makes it so different from all the other ones out there? Well the vast majority of people in this clip have survived cancer.
Yes, if you’re in need of something to make you smile this morning, this video will definitely lift your spirits.
The video features cancer survivors who were all previous patients at the Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. The hospital organised the flash mob (which also features doctors, surgeons, members of the Fairfield Children’s Choir and some stage performers) as a way to help their former patients celebrate their own personal triumph at overcoming their illness.
Filmed at Union Station in New Haven, the video seeks to inspire, uplift and make people smile. We definitely think it achieves all of those things.
