We're obsessed with mouth-watering food snaps and style inspiration ideas but we recently came across an account that is the opposite of pretty.

"Dr Pimple Popper" Instagram account is brought to you by Dr Sandra Lee, a dermatologist, skin cancer specialist and cosmetic surgeon based in California.
Sandra's YouTube channel and the Dr Pimple Popper Instagram account are regularly updated with new photos and videos.

She spoke to
BuzzFeed about the spot-squeezing phenomenon: “For many, I think there is an enormous feeling of satisfaction or resolution when they watch blackheads being extracted or pimples being popped".
She also said that she has made many of her patients happy by offering free extractions in return for filming them anonymously.
“They couldn’t do it themselves and they feel so much better about their appearance after the bumps are gone,” she said.
"All these people around the internet world sleep a little better watching me extract those blackheads. So in the end, it's a win-win-win" continued Sandra.
