The elderly gent, almost as old as the establishment, that has become a part of the furniture.
He's been sitting on the same stool, drinking the same drink (usually Guinness), and is a bit of a local hero. There's one in every pub.
2. Jive Talking
The phrase 'there's always one' comes to mind. Music or no music, at some stage in the night you will witness a pair of the finest jivers known to mankind.
There's just no stopping them.
3. Folk From Out of Town.
Ah, they're either passing through or visiting relatives, but the folk from out of town will stand out by a country mile.
No amount of camouflage gear will let them blend in.
4. The Person That Loves To Shoot The Bar.
There's no recession when this lady or gent are around. They're buying rounds like they're going out of fashion.
5. A Lad In His County Colours
This is just incase any pub goer isn't sure what county they're in, or that the lad forgets where he is from.
6. Drop Down To The Pub For A Bit Of T.V.
The folk that go to the pub to watch the television, are some of our favourite people around.
They can't hear what's happening over the crowd but will continue to watch anyway.
7. The Jukebox King or Queen
We know this is "your song", you've played it on repeat for the last thirty minutes.
Step. Away. From. The. Jukebox.
8. The Irish Man Looking For Love

Without fail the 'guy from the bar' is always out. He is usually located lingering close to a group of females but isn't entirely subtle in his endeavours.
9. Eye On The iPhone
They're too busy updating their status and telling Twitter how much of a great time they're having, to actually have a great time.
10. The Singer
It's the end of the night, the lights signal last orders, and just as the pub is about to close, the sing song begins.
An old Irish ballad begins and the eyes close. Emotional stuff.
11. Slick Rick Behind The Bar
Last but by no means least, the suave barman.
He's serving the punters, while channeling his inner Tom Cruise from Cocktail in order to impress the ladies... Again, there is one in every pub around the country.
