A young checkout worker in Target, USA, has taken over the internet in the last few days after he was covertly snapped while he was at work.
A fan of the young checkout worker was admiring his beauty so much on Sunday afternoon, that she snapped a pic of him and put it on Twitter.
Now Alex (16), who hails from Dallas in Texas, has become a Twitter phenomenon gaining more than half a million followers in less than two days and has been trending worldwide under hashtag #alexfromtarget.
This picture of Alex bagging groceries went viral.
The snap has started a trend online, with people now taking secret snaps of their crushes and posting them on the social media site, while Alex himself has become so popular that he has even taken part in a question and answer session with his fans.
Alex has also made an appearance on The Ellen Show where he admitted that he has had a number of marriage proposals since the picture was taken.
However, since the teenager’s picture went viral, it has been reported that a marketing company in the States have come forward to say that they were behind the scheme as a social experiment, though Target have denied any knowledge of it.
