At a bit of a loose end this Saturday night? Well the Saturday Night Show has announced its line-up for this weekend and it’s a curious one. In fact, there might be quite an interesting debate.
This week on The Saturday Night Show, the panel will turn to the topic of the week; sexism. Brendan will be joined by singer-songwriter Sinéad O’Connor, Legal affairs editor of the Irish Independent Dearbhail McDonald and by Dr Leah Totton, winner of the UK Apprentice 2013 and owner of a non-surgical cosmetic clinic.
Taking stock of the country’s mental health Professor Jim Lucey, Medical Director of St Patrick’s Mental Health Service, will talk about how we can live a life of joy.
UK comedian and author Francesca Martinez will talk about learning to accept her cerebal palsey.
Ireland’s Hip-Hop Crew Champions “Nasty by Nature” will perform at the ‘Malaika’ stage at the flagship Africa Day festival in Farmleigh this Sunday 25th May. The crew are also off to Las Vegas this August to represent Ireland in "The World Hip Hop Championships 2014".
Plus taking time out from their current tour, there is great music from Red Empire.
The Saturday Night Show is at 21.55 on RTÉ One on Saturday 24th May 2014
