If you fancy trying to get your hands on one, you should check out Adverts.ie this week, as one hopeful seller is trying to offload a Gold Card for the pricely sum of €250. Describing it as “membership to the holy grail of the nightclubbing scene”, the seller is doing a good job convincing us that it’s worth every penny. “This rare piece of card allows you and one friend to skip the torturous queue and gain free entry to the club at any time in the night, 7 nights a week, 364 days a year,” they write. “As you can see, you simply cannot put a price on these things. I am only selling this on as I have two and don’t want to be greedy anymore."
