It seems like they've been around since tele began, they're the reason we love many of the shows we love, in fact they've become as "together forever" as tea and a soggy dunkin' biscuit... 

It's Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Eh-hem, it's Ant and Dec and here's why we love them so much... 

1. They're Up For Anything

... and we don't say this lightly. As the grand finale of each Saturday Night Takeaway episode, Ant and Dec join in with their end act, showcasing the skills they spent the past few days learning. Well, imagine our faces when they joined the Riverdance crew...

2. They React Well In Emergencies

This statement is absolutely dripping in sarcasm, just to let you know. Always great for the banter, maybe not so much if anything goes wrong with the banter. Exhibit A: When Gillian McKeith fainted on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

3. They Know Talent When They See It

SuBo, anyone? All we can remember are the two lads turning to the camera, as in, "Yeah, you're unreal, yeah, you can sing, yeah, everyone out there is eating humble pie, you've GOT TALENT."

4. Musical Geniuses. End Of.

It's not many a hit that has come back full force 19 years later AND hit the charts higher than the last one. But the lads have done just that. Who knew performing the hit on their Saturday night show Saturday Night Takeaway could recreate a musical classic?

This is Get Ready To Rhumble the second time around.

And they've announced they're giving their profits to Childline. What a pair... 

5. They're Two Gentlemen

Be it battling the jungle undergrowth in Oz or watching cringeworthy auditions from the side stage in the UK, the two lads have been faced with breasts, bums, knickers, strippers and burlesque dancers... and they have never let their eyes wander. Although they did look quite excited after Beatrix Von Bourbon's BGT performance last year...

6. No Prank Is Ever Half-Arsed

Whether it's the rich and famous they're playing jokes on or just some ordinary Joe Soaps like ourselves, Ant and Dec have never been known to give it any less than 110 per cent. It's a recent one, but it's definitely one of our favourites...

7. They're Perfect Together

Ant and Dec. Dec and Ant just doesn't have the same ring about it, does it? People have been known to get the duo mixed up so, a little piece of trivia knowledge for you, the twosome use the 180 degree rule. Ant is always on the left, Dec is always on the right.
