Have you ever joked that you are addicted to your phone? Or maybe you've been on a night out and notice that conversation has stilled because everybody is too busy tweeting, checking in or taking selfies?
Perhaps you've wondered how much time you spend on social media? Well new app Moment can solve all of this as it tells you exactly how much time you spend on your phone on a daily basis (eeek...not sure we'll want to see that answer!)
The app records how long, in hours and minutes, you spend on your phone every day. Originally designed to promote a healthier balance between phone usage and actually living a life, the app tracks how much you use and helps you to create a daily limit on that usage.
Not only that, but the app will also give you ‘occasional nudges’ when you’re getting near those limits.
Kevin Holesh created the app when he saw how much his phone usage was affecting his real life relationships. He explained that once you set Moment up for the first time, you never need to open it again, as it will run in the background, only alerting you when you are going over your daily limits.
