Important news for anyone hoping to head on a J1 trip this summer.
Spotted on JOE.ie, the Irish branch of the US Embassy has warned students that they should book their Embassy Visa interview as soon as possible so that visas are issued before they travel.
Students who have received a Certificate of Eligibility by their programme sponsor or Irish service provider should book the required interview with the Embassy immediately so that their Visa is granted before they're due to fly to the US.
If you haven't heard about said Certificate yet, then your best bet is to get in touch with your service provider or programme sponsor as soon as possible.
To find out more about what the process entails, check out the embassy's website here.
