We’ve definitely heard worse!
We’re on countdown to the end of the day here and after taking a sneaky peek at the weather forecast for the weekend, it looks like there’s a mixed bag in store.
The rest of today (Friday) will see some scattered showers throughout the day, but overall it will be dry with some sunny spells and temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees.
Heading into Saturday, there will be more sunny spells with temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees but the possibility of heavy rain and some thundery weather.
On Sunday, Met Éireann are predicting a cloudy day with scattered outbreaks of rain.
Heavier rain is expected to hit the east and northeast, with temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees.
Rain is set to continue into Monday, but overall the remainder of the day will be generally dry.
Meanwhile a Status Yellow blight warning is in effect.
