Started your Christmas shopping yet?

If not, then we have found the perfect place to start: there’s a deadly new Christmas bazaar coming to Dublin next month.

Hen’s Teeth will be hosting the festive event over three weekends in December at their new gallery, store and diner on Blackpitts, Dublin 8.

Bazaar, a creative collective, have curated a selection of more than 30 local makers who will sell gifts, homewares and fashion at a specially constructed market in Hen’s Teeth in the run-up to Christmas.

People taking part in the Bazaar include knitwear designer Pearl Reddington, homeware designers Electronic Sheep, printmakers Jill & Gill, street art collective Subset, Palm Free Irish Soap and jewellery maker Capulet & Montague.

Their stalls will sit alongside the existing Hen’s Teeth range of art, homewares and books, making this a one-stop shop for all your Christmas gift needs.

A series of make your own gift workshops will also take place across each weekend, including wreath making with Tjikko Floral, riso printing with Or Studio, macrame from Studio Folklore and the craft of head wraps with Turbante.

“In the digital age we are drowned in images, with the rest of our senses starved,” co-founder Magnus Mudrack said about the Bazaar. “Bazaar markets are a full sensory experience, we find traders who lovingly craft their goods and all your senses help decide if you have fallen in love with that jumper, print, bar of soap or the many other goods.”

It’s important to us that we can offer part of our new space up to some of the local creative heads in the city. It means a lot to us to be able to do that,” Hen’s Teeth founder Greg Spring added.

This is the first in a series of markets run by Bazaar. It will run on Friday evenings from 6pm-10pm and 12-8pm Saturday and Sunday from December 6th, 13th and 20th.
