There’s a new nighttime event coming to Dublin Zoo and it sounds amazing

Looking for something to quell the boredom (and the coldness) of those long, Winter nights ahead of us? As it turns out, you won't need to look further than Dublin Zoo because they've only gone and announced the details of a special nighttime event set to launch in November. And it sounds incredible. 'Wild Lights' is described as a "magical night-time spectacular event" that includes illuminated sculptures and giant colourful lanterns - inspired by all things wildlife and nighttime. According to Dublin Zoo, attendees will...

"Follow the enchanted trail where you will discover the dazzling array of beautifully crafted giant silk lanterns, then be wowed by the Chinese performers and Chinese craft market while enjoying Chinese foods and warm drinks."

And judging by some of the images, we do not want to miss this. 'Wild Lights' will run from November 3, 2017 to January 7, 2018, and promises to be a "truly unforgettable experience." Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am and must be pre-booked to gain entry to the event. They'll set you back €20 per adult and €15 per child.
