If you’re a fan of the comedic genius that is Arrested Development then you’ll definitely appreciate this story. A frozen banana stand has popped up in London to celebrate the return of the cult sitcom.
Arrested Development wasn’t a massive hit when it first started playing on our telly screens but over the past few years it has developed an insane cult following (we have at least three die-hard AD fans in the Her.ie office).
Just in case you’re unfamiliar with the frozen banana stand, it’s a place that is continually referenced in the show mainly via the sentence “There’s ALWAYS money in the banana stand!”

Is there any money in that particular banana stand?
Bluth’s frozen banana stand was spotted in Soho last Friday, its currently in Leicester Square and it has been spotted near Tower Bridge. Apparently the stand is going to pop up in various locations across London until May 21. Then it is being picked up and transported over to America, where it will appear in different cities until the fourth season of Arrested Development premieres on May 26.
