Round three of the Liberty Insurance senior camogie championship kicks off this weekend and there’s another feast of action in store.

First up, Offaly and Galway will go head-to-head in what is a must-win game for the Faithful in order to bag a spot in the quarter-finals.

Having already suffered losses at the hands of Limerick and Wexford, they will be hoping to take a win from St Brendan’s Park in Birr.

Meanwhile, Galway come into the game on the back of an impressive win over reigning All-Ireland champions Cork and will be hoping to make it two wins from two.

Elsewhere, Wexford and Limerick will face off at Innovate Wexford Park in a double header with the Wexford and Cork hurling game.

This is set to be a very competitive game, with both sides securing wins over Offaly in previous rounds, while Limerick lost out to Cork last weekend.

Limerick came out on top when these two sides met earlier this year in the League, and there’s no doubt this weekend’s game will be a cracker.

In the other games of the senior championship, Derry and Kilkenny will meet in Swatragh where Derry will be hoping to grab a win after narrowly losing out to Tipperary last weekend in an epic encounter.

Kilkenny, who defeated Derry in the League earlier this year, already have two wins to their name over both Clare and Dublin, and this game is expected to be a closely-contested affair.

Moving on to Dublin and the women in blue will face off to Tipperary in what is set to be a hugely competitive game. Dublin come into the game following a loss to Kilkenny, while Tipperary will be aiming to maintain their winning run.

In the Intermediate division meanwhile, Meath will face Cork, Wexford take on Down, Kilkenny face Kildare, while Waterford and Antrim will do battle for points.
