However, the humidity will lessen on Thursday and instead, "a spell of persistent rain is likely".

Met Éireann, the rain is likely to spread "countrywide" on Thursday night.
Friday is to be "fresh" so no more muggy weather but this also means that showery rain and light winds are on the cards too.
For next weekend and next week then, early indications suggest changeable, unsettled weather.
