A few people who do deserves nice things though are all the lads working over the RSPCA, as they spend a lot of their time rescuing animas and making the fluffy friends' lives that little bit less awful.
All of this is portrayed in the organisation's Christmas ad but to be honest, if you're feeling at all a tiny bit fragile this afternoon you might want to give this one a miss.
Don't though, because it's extremely adorable.
The ad starts off with a little boy doing a load of nice things for animals including making a hedgehog hotel, not stepping on a snail, and rescuing a box of kittens from an abandoned car.
The little boy then grows up to work for the RSPCA, and continues to do lots of nice things for animals - but this time, he's getting paid for it.
Ideal scenario, to be honest.
You can watch the ad in full here.
