Imagine being able to rent a room in Central London for as little as £1.
It sounds too good to be true but SpareRoom founder, Rupert Hunt, believes this is the best way to 'find the right people'.
Rupert, who is the brains behind the apartment-sharing site, says he will only charge his lodgers what they can afford.

Chatting about his idea to find two housemates, he said: “I'm offering the rooms on a 'pay what you can afford' basis.
"I'm far more interested in finding the right people to share with, who I'll enjoy having around and add something to my life, than maximising my rent".
This means that if you can only afford £1, that's all Rupert would charge you and wait for it, the property itself is worth a princely three million pounds.
Oh and if that wasn't enough reason to move in, there's a garden room, disco room and a baby grand piano*
