Daydreaming about summer…
Let’s face it, the beach is the last thing on our minds in these icy temperatures, however it will soon be time to start fantasising about warmer weather and sandy Tayto sandwiches again.
Our little island grants us the luxury of never being TOO far from a beach, should we fancy wetting the toes.
Now, Tripadvisor has compiled a list of the ten best beaches on the Emerald Isle, as voted on by International tourists.
Inchydoney beach in West Cork has been named Ireland’s favourite beach by international tourists for the third year in a row, due to its “glorious and unspoiled” landscape.

However, Co. Kerry is the real winner here, with four beaches making the top ten list.
The results were compiled from reviews and ratings over a twelve-month period.

- Inchydoney, Co Cork;
- Inch Beach, Co Kerry;
- Lahinch, Co Clare;
- Rossbeigh, Co Kerry;
- Banna, Co Kerry;
- Maghera, Co Donegal;
- Curracloe, Co Wexford;
- Renvyle, Co Galway;
- Portmarnock, Co Dublin.
