In fact, new research has revealed that the average British child will receive over £5,000 in pocket money over the course of their childhood for helping out with spring cleaning chores.
A study of parents with children aged 3 to 16, part of the Dance Your Place Clean campaign from Flash and Viakal revealed that parents are forking out roughly £400 a year to EACH child for helping with chores.
Not all chores are made equally though, and some tend to pay a lot better than others. (You can't put a price on having a LIFE, though can you?!)
