As anyone who has hailed from a large family will tell you, sometimes the more mouths to feed means the less extravagances elsewhere.
This Christmas, one Irish family wanted to say a special thank you to their parents.
Their daughter says:
“My mum and dad have never been on a honeymoon and after 21 years of marriage my three sisters and I decided to give everything they have to us back by getting them a €1000 voucher for Christmas so they can finally go in their well-deserved honeymoon. Eight kids and they still manage to make Christmas amazing for every single one of us every year. They are our best friends and truly deserve this.”
