If you thought the Tallafornia crew were raking in the money on the hit TV3 show, think again. Apparently the cast earned just €3,000 for their time in front of the cameras and now one Tallafornian is looking for a little more cash.
The Irish Daily Star reports that Cormac Branagan has said that he’ll only agree to a third season of the show if the price is right.
“If the money’s not there, neither am I,” said Cormac, speaking to the newspaper.
“I was never in it for the fame,” the former cabbie added.
Despite the fact that Cormac has already appeared in two series of the show, he also admitted that it probably “wasn’t the wisest decision” for him.

Cormac wants more money to appear on a new series of the show
“It rules out a lot of jobs I can do and it effects the type of employment I can seek,” he said.
“What can I work at? The counter in Dunnes? A customer-face job would cause hassle for my employer because of my profile,” he added.
While Cormac said that he did continue to work as a taxi driver following his appearance on the first season of Tallafornia, he described it as a “stop-gap.”
“It resulted in attention that I didn’t want. I was doing nights because that’s what suited me best, but you’d have mad-drunk students recognising you. It was positive but still…” he added.
However, the Corminator does have some career plans for the future.
“I put Grey Goose vodka on the map in Ireland, so I’d be the ideal person to endorse it,” he said.
“The amount of sales off licences have had as a result of what happened on the show was massive,” he added.
Well Cormac, no matter what you decide to do in the future at least you won’t forever be known as the cast member who didn’t realise he was being called a pr**k by a fan.
