Ever fancy yourself a plunderer and are slightly on the hairy side? Well, even if you are not overly hairy you may be interested in working as an extra for a new series of Vikings.
The second series of the History Channel programme is due to be filmed in Wicklow and Dublin this summer.
It turns out Viking warrior Ragnar Lothbrok needs an army, and they are more than willing to pay for it.
If you are interested Wicklow’s open casting day is Wednesday 5th June at the Grand Hotel, Abbey Street in Wicklow Town, from 11am - 6pm.

Dublin casting will be the following day at Filmbase, Curved Street in Temple Bar on Thursday 6th June, 11am - 6pm, and Friday 7th June, 9:30am - 5pm.
Men and women from all ethnic backgrounds, shapes and sizes are invited to the casting call. However, preference will be given to those with a relevant skill like fishing or carpentry.
If you can wield a sword and/or weapon, even better. Not that we are encouraging that...
