This amateur photography competition shows Ireland at it’s best

Ellen Tannam

Ireland is a beautiful place, and those with a keen eye for photography are getting the chance to display their talents in the TopOil Amateur Photo Competition.

They’ve gotten some beautiful entries in already and the level of talent is remarkable. The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Ireland Alive’, showcasing the wildlife and diverse landscapes right on our doorsteps.

Here are just a handful of the entries so far to give you an idea of the standard, and make you feel a little patriotic.
