According to reports, Netflix could soon be rolling out advertisements to its millions of subscribers.
One of our favorite things about our Netflix subscription is the lack of advertising, however that could be set to change in the very near future.

The streaming service has reportedly begun testing advertisements that play before and after videos.
Only a select few subscribers are currently seeing the ads and they will reportedly only showcase Netflix productions - so no annoying product advertisements and campaigns (yet).

Although analysts have suggested that Netflix will soon need to sell ads to third parties in order to remain profitable, the site insists it has no plans to do so.
A Netflix spokesperson told
TechCrunch: “Our policy around ads is unchanged. We have no plans to support third-party ad units."
If the site does begin advertising their own original shows in short trailers, we reckon it won't be the end of the world.
Since the site's content is such top quality, the recommendations might actually come in handy.
